How do I schedule a transfer appointment?

What are your hours?
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year for all of your patient transfer needs.

What if the appointment requires a return round trip transportation, do I need to schedule another pick up?
No, if required we offer a Wait & Return Service that is unique to Hoffmans.  With round trip wait & return service our staff is always in attendance to assist throughout the duration of the appointment.  At the time of completion of the appointment our vehicle and staff is present to return back to the pre-determined destination at a reduced rate for this service.

Why do you ask for an appointment time?
If there is not enough travel time allotted, the patient may miss their appointment.  We will monitor weather, traffic delays, etc. and will suggest an earlier departure, if needed.

Will you do a double transfer?
Yes, but you must make the request at the time of scheduling.

Will you honor a DNR order?
Yes, but we will need a copy of the form at the time of the transfer appointment.

Do you allow family members to accompany patients?
Yes, we encourage it, as it usually is comforting to the patient.
